Ship modelling is a time-consuming hobby.
Building historical ships requires the knowledge of working
techniques with many different materials.
The are sometimes up to 40 wood kinds used for the model. I also have taken part on model competitions for two years.

Durig the World Championship 1998 at Gdansk two of my models
The Armed Cutter and The Xebec were rewarded silver medals within the C-class.
Unfortunately sometimes a model has to be sold (because of space problems).
